This “All Green” hand is a color-based yakuman unique to Japanese mahjong’s evolution. Tile designs
varied historically — in some regions, Green Dragon was printed in blue, making the yaku impossible.
In Japan, the unified green palette of the bamboo suit led to the codification of this striking, thematic hand.
