Difficulty: ★★★★★
Requirement:
- One of each terminal and honor tile + one duplicate
Origin & Trivia:
“Kokushi Musou” is an old Japanese idiom meaning “a hero unmatched within the nation.” The term
appears frequently in Meiji-era heroic literature. The hand’s structure — a collection of the “noble”
edge and honor tiles — mirrors the image of a lone warrior wielding rare treasures. It is one of the oldest
and most romanticized mahjong hands.
